Develop and apply mathematical or statistical theory and methods in the dental industry to collect, organize, interpret, and summarize numerical data in the context of business statistics to provide data to management regarding productivity and profitability related to business development and operations; Apply knowledge of the company's business operations to ensure statistical methods and results are appropriate; Evaluate dental business operations and company goals based on statistical parameters measured in the market; Leverage data and analytics to help support experiments and testing in developing new dental business processes; Present raw data to management to support the creation and targeting of new business objectives in such areas as dental information systems, dental budget analysis, dental forecasting trends for developing new dental Offices, researching dental markets and creating custom dental reports by implementing new dental software; Adapt statistical methods to solve specific problems in context of dental office management; Evaluate statistical methods and procedures used to obtain data to ensure validity, applicability, efficiency, and accuracy and evaluate sources of information to determine any limitations in terms of reliability or usability; Report results of statistical dental analyses to operations engineers and managers in the dental industry in the form of graphs, charts, and tables; Collaborate with management and other teams across the dental business unit to identify and track key success metrics; Utilize metrics and finding to help drive informed decision-making; Apply theoretical knowledge of mathematics and computers and electronics in the successful completion of his/her duties.
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, or a related field plus 6 months of experience. In addition, Employer requires at least six (6) months experience in the following skills: evaluating dental business operations and company goals based on statistical parameters measured in the market; evaluating statistical methods and procedures used to obtain data to ensure validity, applicability, efficiency, and accuracy to be utilized in the area of business development and operations; adapting statistical methods to solve specific problems in context of dental office management and operations; SQL Server; Reporting Services; SQL Queries; Stored procedures and user defined functions; and translating user requests into reporting specifications.
